About Garage Geek Guy

Garage Geek Guy is a YouTube channel and companion blog about hands-on electronics, Arduino, microcontrollers, and the kinds of weekend projects that start with "I wonder if I could…" and end up scattered across the workbench.

Each post here is a written companion to a video on the channel — for people who'd rather skim a build log, copy a snippet of code, or revisit a wiring diagram than scrub through a 20-minute video. The video is always embedded at the top of every post, so you can watch, read, or both.

What you'll find here

  • Build logs from real projects, not idealized tutorials
  • Schematics, code snippets, and parts lists you can actually copy
  • Lessons learned the hard way — usually with a small puff of magic smoke
  • Links back to the source video on YouTube
